Harry Potter A Forbidden Forest Experience Leesburg, VA- 'Second Time Around'
I walked into The Forbidden Forest (Leesburg, VA) last night ••• Magical lights and Harry Potter movie soundtrack welcomed me. The moment at the end of the reel is a mix of extreme happiness and near to tears! Take a walk with me into my magical experience (more and more posts coming) Magical Moments from Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience (Leesburg, VA). On my hike through the enchanted forest at night, I was able to cast some favorite charms and spells. And after the mighty fantastic year that I have had, it came as no surprise I got a Phoenix for a Patronus! 🐦🔥 There were creatures and beasts from the wizarding world. Buckbeak loved having me revisit, the Dementor couldn’t stand my presence 😜 bet it needed the chocolate afterwards haha 🤣 and I had a close encounter with a freshly shipped dragon. Romania, you need to build stronger boxes! Forest beasts and creatures were ready to terrify or charm at every step. Howling werewolves, exploding Blast Ended Skrewts, soul-thirsty Dementors, and hungry tarantulas threatened our existence! Naughty Nifflers, wild pixies, mischievous pygmy puffs, and clingy bowtruckles charmed us with their mischief. Triwizard Tournament additions were brilliantly done. The Goblet of Fire stood with the age line around it. 4 pieces of chosen champions names hung on top. Dedicated to the participating wizarding schools: Durmstrang, Hogwarts, and Beauxbatons, a walkway was decorated with banners and flags and crests projected on the trail. The golden egg was celebrated as it sang the Merpeople song “Come seek us where our voices sound”. There was the ‘compromised’ dragon shipment from Romania! — Whoops! They definitely need to make their cargo boxes Jurassic-Park strong. This was my favorite exhibit! It needs to be made into a replica toy with sound effects and moving dragon eye and tail! It will sell like hot dragon cakes! Hot Cocoa & Treats with Sara at the HP Forbidden Forest Experience Leesburg, VA. Hot cocoa in the 50 degrees chill at a magical place too good to be true is SOMETHING! Two hours along our trail we were in for a treat. I picked the Gryffindor cocoa which was a delicious orange hot chocolate frosted with whipped cream and red sugar. Sara went for the class Hogwarts. The cake pops were truly gorgeous! They shined and glittered! We got extras for the Bubbster Club (missed my Niblings!) and found out the hats actually had house colors. We only got Slytherin and Hufflepuff haha 😆 The oldest niece relates to Slytherin 😜 Also in the mix were criminally yummy brownies with a flying Hedwig chocolate topper and sugar cookies shaped and decorated like the Deathly Hallows symbol and Hogwarts letter.
